about me
I’m a British audiobook narrator with an adventurous spirit. I live with my husband, three teenagers and a very chatty cat. I trained at Manchester School of Theatre and I have worked in Theatre, TV, Film and Radio, and I now devote all my time to voice acting.
Growing up I found both refuge and joy in stories and have never really grown out of it. I have spent my whole life exploring and sharing stories.

A Collector of Voices
I collect voices, it’s a habit of mine to stand stock still and listen anytime I hear an interesting accent, tone or cadence. I will store it in my head and play with it for days afterwards wondering who this person is and what led to the creation of this voice. I have been doing this since I was child. I never realised this was a skill until I went to drama school and quickly found a love for character acting, where I can play against type. Voice Acting is the perfect place for me to work, using my fascination with voices and the life behind them to lift words off the page and share stories.

A Storyteller
For fifteen years I ran a business called ‘Drama Llamas’. Writing original stories for pre-school children, performing them through interactive oral storytelling sessions using a story box containing puppets, props and pictures and then guiding the class of children through an exploration of the story with games, silly voices and movement. Kids can be a tough crowd sometimes but it was truly joyous and I am proud to have sparked so many little imaginations. Storytelling is in my bones and now, I tell all sorts of stories from Literary Historical Fiction and Romance to Comedic Fiction and Dark Crime Thrillers.
