Caroline fantozzi voice actor

audiobooks

As a trained, experienced actor with a storytelling background and a fascination with voices Audiobook Narration makes me so very happy, it is the perfect job for my skills set.

My lively, engaging and intimate voice can switch nimbly between character and narrator with a range of accents – British Regional, General American and a range of International accents. I have a deep connection within my narration and am able to convey both pathos and humour.

I love Historical Fiction, Thrillers and Non-Fiction, all three feed my curious mind. I also enjoy romance, especially tales about women in mid-life and my pseudonym records spicy titles as solo narrations, duet and duel.

Every book is a new adventure…

An Experienced Narrator and Storyteller

Working as a children’s storyteller and writer for over 15 years has given me deep understanding how tell a story well and as trained actor I can craft well rounded characters. Strong sight reading skills also mean I work efficiently in the studio whilst maintaining subtext and nuance.

I have recorded with publishers such as Penguin Random House, Hachette, Dreamscape and Blue Nose, along with many independent authors.

It takes perseverance to record an audiobook and my passion for the work makes it the perfect challenge. I strive to make the best of every single project utilising a detailed preparation process on the manuscript with attention to detail on the narrative arc and characterisation before recording even begins. I sight read every day to keep my skills sharp and take vocal health very seriously.

You have brought my characters alive in a way that I could never have imagined. Your reading of Mrs. Gardiner had me laughing out loud - and that’s when I thought I had become immune to my characters' quirks! Bravo!

Caroline is an exceptional voiceover artist and was a dream to work with. I was impressed with the calibre of her voiceover skill and her ability to make the mundane sound exciting, especially in a corporate setting.

I just finished listening! OMG! It is brilliant! And you even made me cry on the chapter about Dover’s mother giving her up for adoption. This book has truly come alive thanks to you. I wish I could give you a huge hug!
